Call for Proposals: Society for Disability Studies 2015 Annual Conference

November 2014 – The Society for Disability Studies (SDS) is holding their 28th annual conference in Atlanta, June 10-13, 2015.  The event’s program committee encourages proposal submissions in all areas of disability studies, especially those premised on this year's theme: “getting it-right/s.”

Proposals for SDS Atlanta 2015 are due Monday, December 8, 2014. Participants will be notified of the status of their proposal by February 15, 2015. The conference themes are as follow: ADA Legacy, Communities / Identities, Critical Design & Technology Studies, Power and Privilege, Professional Development, and Translational Research in Health Sciences and Disability Studies. Each theme will have 3 to 4 related events, varying in format (complete panels, individual presentation, topical discussion, workshop, poster, etc.).
