Georgia Read More

Georgia Read More is a literacy program created by the Georgia Department of Education and Georgia Public Broadcasting,  aimed at encouraging kids to read and parents to interact with their children.  The program presents a video series of children's story books read by Georgian celebrities,  authors and politicians, including President Jimmy Carter, Atlanta Braves pitcher John Smoltz and country singer Travis Tritt among others.

The Georgia Read More App is a mobile video portal that enables children to browse and watch Georgia Read More episodes.  With videos in English, Spanish and American Sign Language, the app encourages the exploration of all three languages.   The app is designed to be both kid-friendly and accessible to children with emerging language skills as well as vision and hearing impairments.
