Bill has over 30 years' experience in the high-tech and technical standards arena.  He currently serves as senior director of technology and standards for the Consumer Electronics Association, the U.S. trade association representing more than 2,000 consumer electronics companies and producer of the technology event, the International CES.  Bill represents CEA's technical interests in industry and international venues on a broad range of topics including accessibility.  He has participated in international development programs on standards and presented at EPA, FTC and FCC workshops on a variety of subjects.  He leads CEA's technical initiatives on accessibility, including standards-development. 

Prior to joining CEA, Bill worked as senior director at the Telecommunications Industry Association. Prior to that, he was a senior engineer at AT&T Wireless Services. Bill holds a BS in electrical engineering from Syracuse University.
